Prerequisites
- Make sure iOS version is 16 or above
- Sign out of Apple account on iPad
- Sign in to Apple School Manager(ASM)
- Sign in to CET Jamf and enter school instance
- Download Apple configurator on iPhone and sign in to ASM (details in 1pass)
Method
1. Erase iPad.
2. Go through setup steps until you reach Wifi screen.
3. Open Apple Configurator on your iPhone, hover the camera over the wifi screen on the iPad and scan QR code. Wait for it to pull iPad into ASM.
4. Erase iPad (it will prompt you)
5. In ASM go to Devices > select iPads you have just added and set the MDM on them to Jamf by clicking the 3 dots in the corner and assigning MDM.
6. In Jamf go to Devices > Automated Device Enrollment > Click sync at the top.
7. On the iPad go through the setup steps, input the wifi details and it will enrol.
